Another tool that I use on a weekly basis and sometimes daily, so a delivery brokerage company called Parcel2go. Parcels2go allow you to buy carrier services at steeply discounted prices. And over the years I have used them they have saved me thousands of pounds in delivery charges.

So you may be thinking, Ok it is cheap so they must use cheap companies, and my parcel will never get there. No way Parcel2go use all the main stream delivery companies; DHL, Fedex, TNT, Myhermes, Citylink, Parcelforce, Palletline and the list goes on and on. They will deliver your parcels any where in the world.

You book your parcel in online, choose who you want to deliver the parcel (they even give you a choice and show you the prices and delivery times)

Enter in your details and the where the parcel is going, then pay using PayPal or a credit or debit card.

You get conformation and very soon the driver will be knocking on your door to collect the item. No more going to the Post Office.

It is worth noting that you do need to book parcels in by Midnight for next day collection. (You can book international parcels on same day, but I have found it is best to book in by midnight and the following day they will be collected).

They pick up anytime from 8am-6pm, but once you have used say DHL a few times you get to know their pick-up times (For me it is 2.20pm).
