Take Time To Build Your Business
I am often asked how I get so much done in a day. In the begining when people asked me this question I found it quite hard to answer as I woeked from home full time in my business and could spend anything from a few hours aday on my business in a day if I was having a fun day, but the next day I could spend say 18 hours on my business to make up for it.
Right now I guess I work 15 hours aday on my business, but at the same time my business allows me to work at my local Church for at least one day a week and allows me to have fun days too. But how does this look for someone who has a full time job ? Hard no, you just have to be careful of your time, and how you use your time.
@ For example if you watch 5 hours of TV in an evening cut that right down or even in the early days cut it right out. Did you know if you cut that all out you would have an extra 35 hours a week . WOW, almost a full working week.
@ Limit your time on sites such as Facebook. Allow yourself say 30 minutes aday to interact with people. But at the same time you will be building your business if you interact in the right way.
@ Get up an hour earlier each day.
The tips above will take work and effort to build on, but if you want to have the freedom from having your own business you will want to give up the things and work on your business.
Also you can give yourself time slots to build your eBay or other online business. Some examples on how these time slots work are:
@ Spend one evening taking all your photo’s for the items you need to list that week.
@ Spend another evening preparing the photo’s
@ Weigh the items so you know the postage rates for each one
@ Write your discriptions in notepad.
@ Then spend an eveing cutting and pasting, and listing your items on eBay.
When people first start out building their eBay business they tend to take a picture, write a listing upload the picture, (then when the item sells panic as they do not know what the item weighs), then start all over again, this wastes time.
Hope the above ideas and tips help you build your eBay business.
