A Change Is In The Air

Hi,

Over the next few weeks, having taken advice from Janelle Elms of OSI RockStars I am changing parts of this blog.

For example I have bought a new domain name and will be using this for my Education Specialist Program, and  this will be a static site with just a few articles there, but the base will be the classes I teach. this will be on LinfordDirectTraining . com (This is NOT live yet).

And I have bought another name for my Trading Assistant business.  This is on Trading-Assistant-In-Staffordshire . com again as yet this is not live.

Then I shall use this blog, to post hints and tips, product sources etc, and as the two new ones will be more static I shall not have to spend loads of time on them, just updating when I add new classes etc.

Don't Jump To Wrong Thinking

Yesterday while I was working online I got an MSN message from a local girl I have been helping with her eBay business, we have never met but it has all been done online. She is now able to sell some of her baby stuff.

Anyway she sent me a message that something she had bought for her Mum on the 29th July had not arrived, now I did say to her to was only t days including the weekend, but she was not a happy bunny.

Now my girl had paid straight away via paypal, and had emailed the seller saying so.

Nothing from the buyer.

Next day came my girl checked and it had not been sent, so re-emailed – nothing from the seller.

In total my girl had sent 4 emails and had nothing from the seller.

Now Andrew comes into the picture on Monday – I did say it had only been just the week, but said yes the buyer should have got back.

So asked my girl to give the sellers ID, so could check feedback .

It was very good and high

But I say that the last two had been left that day 4th August so checked when they had bought, guess what the 29th.

So said to my girl, I have a feeling it will arrive today. Guess what it did.

What am I saying here :

If you are a seller, send out on time and reply to all emails from buyers.

So ended up with one happy buyer.

Help With eBay Resources

Over the past few weeks and months people have been asking me what do you think of this product or what do you think of this program, and until now I have been a bit put off from giving my point of view on eBay resources. Well that is all about to change and starting next week I am launching a series of postings looking at what resources there are out there , and what I think of them.

Now I have a challenge for those people out there who have produced eBay and other on line resources. Going from software, to ebooks to real courses that are produced on paper and DVD.
The challenge is if you have produced any type of resource or you own the resell rights to any, then send me a review copy. I will use it and give my honest opion of it.

Want It Now

Do you remember back to when you were younger or I guess even as grown-ups we often say I Want It Now well eBay have caught hold of this Want It Now and have set up a great service for all eBay users.

So if you cannot find an item you are looking for you can place a Want it Now advert, and soon you will be getting emails in your My Message area with ideas the same as the ones you are looking for. All you need to do is to chose the one you want and buy it.

Now a word of caution, when you place a Want it Now only every respond to emails or messages within the My message section of eBay.

USA Trade Show 001

Well you have asked for it, so I have done some research and as far as possible when I put a UK Trade Show on the bog I will try and include one for the USA. Are You Prepared

Well over here in the UK most schools have broken up for the summer holidays, and for those of us who sell online it can mean we need to be prepared. What do I mean, well if we owned a normal business within reason if the weather looked good for the week ahead we could say well lets shut up shop.

But as we own an online business we need to plan ahead.

@ We need to make sure we have no auctions or listings ending while we are away

@ We need to make sure that all the items we have shipped out have reached our customers

@ We need to have all our feedback up to date.

@ If you run an Amazon Shop we can put this on holiday setting

Hope this gets you started about being prepared for your holidays, and if you are going away have a great and blessed time.

This weeks Product Source , takes into the world of fishing and all the accessories that go along with this great  hobby and sport.

The Product Source I have chosen sells items such as clothing, accessories, rods, lines lures and the list goes on and on.

A word of warning when you go to the site you will see that this is their own retail site but if you go half way down on the right hand sideyou will see a link to sign up for a Trade / Wholesale account.

But a very big plus with this Supplier is that they take PayPal as a payment.
