As for taking great pictures, I find you can reflect light back onto the object by holding a piece of white foam core board or white cardboard on the side opposite your light source to create an evenly lit photo.

For those of us who are too chicken to get a "real" tattoo, there are also temporary tattoos made from Henna. They last anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks depending on your body temperature level, where the Henna is applied, and how often you wash the area. Henna tattoos have a long history and are common in many cultures throughout the Middle East, India, and Pakistan (they are a traditional decoration of Jewish brides from Yemen). Best of all, there are no needles involved. Just an example of a subcategory within a larger niche market.
