I guess many of you reading this have not really thought about Christmas this year - 2008, well I am sorry to say if you are in the retail business either as a Brick and Morter business or as an Online Trader you need to be thinking ahead, and January means Christmas 2009 and it happens in Harrogate.

This year the Christmas 2009 Trade fair in Harrogate runs from Saturday January 10th right through to Monday January 12th 2009.

As Usual The Harrogate Christmas and Gift Fair runs over several venues around the town. Please do not let this put you off visiting this great buying and networking event as they are all very close to each other.

Venue one for the Harrogate Christmas and Gift Fair is the St George Hotel and Harrogate International Centre. These venues are for the Christmas and Gift buyers, and the venue is open from 11th - 14th January between 9am -6pm (except the last day when they close at 4pm)

Venue Two is the Clearence section and is always a very popular part of the Harrogate Christmas and Gift Fair. The Venue is at The Cairn Hotel and is open between 9am 6pm each day 10th - 12th January.

The Final venue of the Harrogate Christmas and Gift fair is The Old Swan Hotel and here you will find all the cards and gift wrap you will ever need for Christmas 2009.
This venue is open between January 10th - 12th. And the times are 9am - 6pm.

Hi,

Over the next few weeks, having taken advice from Janelle Elms of OSI RockStars I am changing parts of this blog.

For example I have bought a new domain name and will be using this for my Education Specialist Program, and  this will be a static site with just a few articles there, but the base will be the classes I teach. this will be on LinfordDirectTraining . com (This is NOT live yet).

And I have bought another name for my Trading Assistant business.  This is on Trading-Assistant-In-Staffordshire . com again as yet this is not live.

Then I shall use this blog, to post hints and tips, product sources etc, and as the two new ones will be more static I shall not have to spend loads of time on them, just updating when I add new classes etc.

For a long time I have been looking for a site or a program that can help me with my online business ventures including eBay and Amazon and other leading online ventures.

I looked at many and joined a few and although they gave some information it did not offer the whole show.

Well can you believe it we are at Trade Show 006. To someone selling on eBay or to that matter any online or offline platform Trade Shows are a must. Yes you can buy from catalogues and yes you can buy from Sales Reps.

But going to a Trade Show is so much better, as you can see and meet hundreds and sometimes thousands of suppliers and manuafactors. At Trade Shows you get to meet, owners, the head of sales, and at times you get to see very niche products, that you always thought I wish I could sell that. Well Get your self a some Trade Shows this year, and find those cool niche products.

The Trade Show that I have choosen for you this week takes us into the Interior Design Market and again sees us back at the NEC.
