Trade Shows Work
In the past when I have attended a Trade Show, and mentioned that I sell on sites such as eBay or Amazon, it appeared if you had the plague or just said something very bad, these companies ran a mile. But Trade Shows work, you can meet up with buyers and quite often other sellers. You are able to chat and share ideas and experience.
This year when I attended the Spring Fair at the NEC I found it very different, companies were very open to supplying e-commerce sellers and they were very keen in supplying people who sold on sites such as eBay. Wow what a difference. And as a eBay Consultant I found it interesting that these sales reps and business owners were asking me all about eBay and how it could work in their business model.
This was a very big shift even from last year. So yes Trade Shows Work and they will continue to work for many years to come. At the Trade Show I attended I made some very contacts and have a large list of products that I am looking at selling in the coming months, also I was able to find some products for people who took advantage of my product finding business (This is still avaible, if you are intersted, just drop me a email).
Trade Shows work due to the fact that you can meet the people face to face, you can touch and feel the items, you can talk and make friends. So this year make it a goal to attend at least one Trade Show in your niche.
