To keep you all up to date. From now on when I mention ebay as a site I will be including links to the USA site first as this is where I am getting most visits, and then the UK site second.

As other sites become popular I shall add this to the list as well. How I see this working is that 9 times out of 10 the hyperlink will go to the USA site unless it is just for a certain country, and then at the end of the post will include links to the other eBay sites.

Hope this works, if you have any other ideas on making it more user friendly, then please leave me a comment.

Have you always thought to your self I wonder what the top selling item is on eBay, then though well no one would tell me if they did not.

Well rid your thinking and mind of that myth for if you nip a long to eBay Pulse you will be taken to a cool page like this :

Now this screen shot was taken on July 1st 2008 and we can see that wii was the most popular search on ebay.co.uk, and the top 5 searches were for computer games and the hardware. WOW so that gives you some insight into what people are looking for.

News Flash – 2

Sorry about giving you TWO news flashes within a few minutes of each other, but while writing the first one, my mind started to wonder. I thought what can I do to offer my readers a better source of training and education information, not only eBay but helping you source for any selling platform you can think of.

I want this blog to be the place where eBayers and those who need help with selling to come to.

So getting back to my 2nd News Flash – Trade Fairs.

Starting on a Sunday Evening I will be listing the Major Trade Fairs that are coming up here in the Uk and those further abroad. But for those ones abroad I do need readers help. News Flash – 1

News Flash – 1

As many of us who sell on eBay and this question is asked even more to those of use who are eBay Education Specailists. Where do I find that cool Hot product to sell on eBay.

So starting each Friday I will be listing one supplier here in the UK, with complete contact details where I have them. And I will continue to list one a week till I run out of suppliers. So come back each Friday and by 9pm you will see a New Supplier listed.

Now to all my friends over seas, I am sorry at the moment I am unbale to list suppliers as I do not have the resourses to do this. But hey there is a way out of this problem, If you could leave comments after each of my posts with a supplier from your country.

So if I list Baby Clothes one week, if people could leave a supplier from their own country in the comments section then that would build up a massive resource for ebayers all over the world.

Help Needed

Hi There,

I need your help. Please could you add your comments to this post, as it will not only help me, it will help others out there as well. With eBay and other online selling platforms we need to sort out the year in our minds and on paper so that we can have the right products at the right time in our auctions and stores.

So could we all combine our thoughts and list all the major holidays that we give gifts in. Once the list has been done I will do a post and then most likely re-edit it as other people will say hey you forgot that day or that holiday.

So your comments Please.

Thursday May 1st is the chosen day by eBay for a 5p Auction listing day. I have copied and pasted the following from the site.

Terms and Conditions

What is it?

For the entire day of Thursday 1st of May 2008 (local UK time), sellers who list item(s) using the Auction-style format in an eligible category, will pay a reduced Insertion Fee of 5 pence (£0.05) per item listed. Please refer to “What’s Excluded?” for more details.

When is it?

Thursday 1st May 2008 from 00:00:01 BST until 23:59:59 BST (promotional period).
