A question that I am regularly asked is can we still make money on eBay today, and the answer I gave 10 years ago is still the same today YES. The site may have changed, the management may have changed, people have changed, but eBay is still a place where the little person can still make a part time or full time income.

Take a look around you in the normal offline world, new shops keep opening, supermarkets open new stores in a town or city where there are several already, they would not do this if there was no hope of making money – would they. So the same goes for eBay.

Now what has changed on eBay is that they have cleaned up the site they have made it so that the “bad guys” are no longer welcome, and the “good guys” are looked after.

As with any business you need to choose your market careful, research your items careful, and if you do this then your eBay business will grow and grow and you will make money.
