Beware Of The Forums

When I first started being serious in the world of Internet Marketing and e commerce, I visited a lot of the forums and while I learnt a lot, I soon became hooked on them and spent many hours wasting my time. But why the title Beware Of The Forums ? Like I said before I learnt a lot from some friendly people who just wanted to help the new people, but you can also waste time when you should be taking action in your business.

But over times a lot of the forums started to post negative comments and also often people were having open war against some of the companies and there was a lot of negative feedback going on. And if you look around the forums even today you can see people posting negative comments about people, products and companies. Even when people share a whole business plan that has produced money for them, people will pull it a part. And I believe if they went and put their time and energy into building the said business idea, or working on their own business then they would be seeing money coming into their accounts.

Although I say beware of the forums, a forum can be useful when you want to know how to do something in your business, such as write some code, or how to do something. You can place a question and often within minutes you have people giving you answers. But again be careful with the answers as some people could give you the wrong one. Often this is because the question was asked wrong or not enough information was given, but sadly at times people just gave the wrong info for some fun, sad yes.

If you want to use forums, please be careful in the ones you use and visit, and ideally pick one or two, and visit then now and then, answer questions, be friendly, and over time you will gain respect and your posts could drive traffic to your own site or blog. Yes i did say Beware of the Forums, but if used in the correct way they can be good.
