If you work from home, you tend to find bank holidays are just like any other day of the week. My family tend t think because we have a bank holiday on a monday then the next two days are also holidays, mainly this is because they do not work, and also they tend to forget I am here in the home with them everyday. This year we have 2 long weekends right after each other. And this does cause us sellers a nightmare. We need to source stock and we need to send out orders to the people who have bought over the holiday period.

But all is not lost, why not suggest you go for a day out somewhere, and who knows you might just find a car boot sales, jumble sales etc where you could buy some extra stock and also you will be with the family too. But also use the time to go through your stock, and list like made, because remember that due to these holidays there will be plenty of fed up people who are searching for something to cheer them up, and you do have a 3 day window when you can ship out the item so they get it in time for the next bank holiday and the Royal Wedding.

Something else we can think on is how lucky we are as eBay and Amazon sellers is the fact that we have the freedom to shop when we want, go out for lunch when we want, get up when we want. Selling on line does have it fun times and yes it does have down times too, but most are good times.

So this Bank Holiday, spend some time listing items, and also find some of those car boot sales that only happen on a Bank Holiday and go and buy some new stock and take the family with you, that way they will not moan.

Having said all that……………………….. do take some time out relax, chill, and remember you are blessed to be working from home and seeing your family each and everyday. Being there for them in the good and bad times and never having to worry having to miss a school play, sports day for your children.

Have fun.
