Bank Holiday Alert

 

We all like to have time off from work, some more than others. But the joy of having an online business means we can still have time off but also keep track of what is happening in our business via mobile phones, laptops etc. You may be thinking what is with the Bank Holiday Alert title……………………………..

Well here in the UK over the next few weeks we have a chunk of long weekends, yes like I said holidays are good, but they can ruin or spoil your business, customers not getting their orders when they thought, you being not being at the computer as often as normal. For example next friday is Good Friday and this is a Bank Holiday then the Monday is Easter Monday. Now because Easter is right at the end of April, and due to the Royal Wedding, we have another long weekend the following week. (Friday 23rd April, Monday 26th April)

Friday is the Royal Wedding and the Monday is May Day. (Friday 29th April, May 2nd).

So in a 10 day period we only have 3 working days. This will effect people who are waiting for parcels, cheques to clear, items in the post etc. Yes while we need to have these holidays we need to be alter and pro-active in out business to alert buyers and clients. If some buys during this 10 day period, keep the emails going and let them know about the possible delays that could happen.
