I Want It Now ?

How many times in a day do we hear the words “I Want It Now” ? I guess many times and if we are truthful we often say it ourselves.

We will look at something or think of something and say those four words “I Want It Now” and I guess we hear in reply No, you will have to wait. We live in an instant world, everything has to be had now ………………. Now quite often we just cannot want it now for many reasons, time, money, resources the list is endless.

But today I am about to share a little secret with you ……………… This will  help those who want something today.

Log into eBay and look for the “I Want It Now Link” and you will come to a page looking like this

and you will see a section called “I Want It Now“  click on that and fill out what you need and within a short while you will be getting eBay messages saying someone has sent you a offer.

It works like this say you were wanting a Dolls Pram you list the type and model. I have one like it message you with a price and if you like it you just buy as normal through eBay.

Now put this in reverse, as a seller how can you make money from the “I Want It Now” people ? Any ideas ? No ?…………………………. Well let’s go to the “I Want It Now” section and scroll first through the items we sell is anyone asking “I Want It Now” for the items we sell ( This is strange and I think it is because these people want it now that they do not bother looking they just put up a listing.  If we see some people wanting it now, give them a price and sell, sell.

Another way that you can profit from the “I want it now” area is take a look at what people are after and when you are out and about and see an item that you can make a profit on buy it and give them a price.

So you see “I want It Now” can be fun, and can make you some extra cash.

As they say Good News Comes To Those Who Wait, and I can tell you that with eBay that is the truth. Foe those of you who have been following my blog and twitters will know I have been saying that as an eBay Education Specialist , based in the Uk have been at a big dis-advantage.

Like all eBay Education Specialists we have passed our exams and pay a yearly fee for the use of the logo and the teaching materials.

Now it has been the problem or lack of teaching materials that has been my focus of moaning the complaining and pleading with eBay. For you see while the USA is now on around version 6 I think eBay Education Specialists here in the UK have been stuck on Version 1 , yes version 1 can you believe it.

Well yesterday I had the email that made me dance for joy………………………………………. at long last the team over here in the Uk have at long last up-dated the Training Manual, The PowerPoint , and the Student Manuals. So I am a very happy eBay Education Specialist and am already planning and talking with some groups about running classes.

New Ways In Making Money

For some time now my blog has been dealing with making money on eBay…………………… Now before you all shout at me I will still and will always cover this topic, eBay has been good to me and eBay has good to the people I know.

But eBay is not always want people want and what they are looking for, so from today onwards I shall be looking at other ways to help you make some extra pocket money on the Internet right through to earning a living on the internet.

I shall be covering online auctions (this includes sites such as Amazon), affiliate marketing, e-commerce, Social marketing, and marketing in general.

Another thing I want to try and start to do is…………………………. I live in the UK, but most of my readers are based in the USA at the moment, so when I do posts I will do one aimed at the UK and another when when I can aimed at the USA.

How many times have you said yo yourself or asked someone how can I Increase my visability on eBay ? I guess if you are honest with me and yourself it will be manytimes and the more you work on eBay and make eBay an income source you will keep asking yourself the question …… ” How do I Increase My Visability on eBay “.

Well your cries have been heard, and heard by eBay them selves and I am happy to tell you about a new program eBay have launched called eBay Adcommerce.

The eBay Adcommerce program is like the Google Pay Per Click, you can sign up to eBay Adcommerce by clicking here.

With the program you will bid on keywords for example let us says model cars, you write a small advert , heading and can include a graphic, now if you are one of the highest bidders, your advert will appear near the bottom of the search page. Simple…………. and you only pay if someone clicks on your advert. And you can set yourself a maximum amount to spend and when this is reached your advert stops showing and you can either leave it or increase your budget.

So there you have it a simple and often a very cheap way to increase your visability on eBay.

Who is Janelle Elms ?

For those of you who have been around eBay and e-commerce for a few months or more will have no doubt heard whispers about someone called Janelle Elms. If you type Janelle Elms into any search engine then you will be met with hundreds of listings.

As you read dome of the listings you may start to think is this person real……………………………………… Well………………………. Yes she is. Janelle Elms is some super hero girl. She gives 110% of her time. Time to business, time to life, time to her friends and time to her Church.

Once you start to read the many articles and the many books she has written, you get the feeling that this is a real person with a passion to see other people achieve.

I had known of Janelle for several years from eBay and a few of her books, and then one day I came across one of her sites, it was full of good content, I signed up for her ezine and I started a journey. And each day is a journey with Janelle as she stretches you to reach your goals.

Does Twitter Work ?

For some months now Twitter has started to grow, you now turn on the TV or pick up the newspaper and not a week goes by without some high profile person coming out and saying yes they are a twit (Twit is a nick name for someone who twitters).

So does Twitter Work the answer to this is a yes and no. If you use Twitter in the right way then it can and will work in a big way…………….. But, if you use Twitter in a wrong way then it can come back and haunt you.

So how does Twitter work right, to do this I need to tell you from how I am using it, when I place a blog post I pop over to Twitter and say  ”Hey I have just posted a new blog post over at Twitter” or hey “I have just added some new items to my store” and tell them what it is……………………..

Does Twitter Work for personal and family yes of course it does, you can Twitter between freinds on where you are going at the weekend, when you get there you can tell them what a great party it is, and where to go and see the pictures.

But what I do not suggest is mixing the two, business people or people who buy off your site are not interested in what you got upto at the weekend……… Now I am going to say but, this but is if you are selling to a Niche such as Night Clubbing and you enjoy night clubbing then personal and buisness Twitters will go together.

Also you have more than one account so you can have one for each business and one for personal………………. but as with everything in life do not let Twitter take over your life, you want to use it to grow your business and your customer base, and not waste time.

So Does Twitter Work………………………….. Yes it does and as you get more into Twitter you will find programs both free and to buy that will let Twitter pull information from your other sites so this lets you to use Twitter but never visit it to up-date it, but that is for a later and once you have used it for a bit.
