A Warning To All Sellers………………….
Last night I was at a Church meeting and a girl who I have helped in the past get going on eBay came over to ask me a question. She said a friend of hers had sold a mobile phone and in the last few minutes of the Auction it had jumped to over £400 nearly 4 times what the phone was worth new and this was a second hand phone.
Then she said the buyer had a zero feedback and had emailed he straight away and said once they paid please could they send the phone to another country instead of Germany.
I explained to this girl this was a con and to contact eBay who who help her through the problem.
For those who are new to eBay how this works is someone buys an item, emails you to say email it to a friend. You say sure, they pay you sometimes through Paypal, but normally another means.
You send the goods………………………………………………….
Then PayPal say to you sorry this was an illegal account or no money in the account.
You loose the item and loose the money.
So if you get something like this happen do not send the goods.
